If the radiator cap is insufficiently sealed it can cause a leak or spray hot coolant, increasing the risk of injury or crash.
Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2021 Honda Rebel 1100 (CMX1100) motorcycles. The radiator cap may have been improperly formed during manufacturing, which could create an insufficient seal.
Dealers will be replacing the radiator cap and refilling any lost coolant on 2021 Honda Rebel 1100 motorcycles, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed February 13, 2022.
