On the affected Bentley Arnage vehicles, Bentley says that “due
to the fitment of road wheel fixing bolts that may be dimensionally
incorrect,” (only a British car maker would talk like
this) the bolts may loosen and the wheel can come off the car.
For the money, you’d think they could at least get the
wheel bolts right!
Bentley has reported to federal US safety investigators that
vehicles built between February 2005 and August 2006 are subject
to the recall if the Vehicle Identification Number is in the
range from SCBLC37F35CX 10826 to SCBLE37G06CX 1 944 I.
