Federal safety investigators have confirmed that VW is recalling
about 362,000 Jetta and Beetle cars because brake light switches
may have been installed incorrectly. The installation error
can result in brake lights that don’t work or don’t
go off and that can lead to an accident. The recall is not
expected to begin until December 2006, so until then driver
carefully!
