Ford Recalls F150 and Lincoln
Mark LT trucks for Brake Errors
Ford
and Lincoln Mercury are recalling over 211,000 Ford F-150
and Lincoln Mark LT trucks because a software glitch can
disable the ABS brake warning system light if the system
becomes inoperative.

The affected vehicles were built between March 29 and December
13, 2005 at the Kansas City plant and between November 18,
2004 and December 13, 2005 at Ford’s Dearborn Truck
plant. The Kansas City plant code is KCAP; the Dearborn plant
code is DTP.
