Chrysler Recalls 268,000 Vans & SUVs
Windshield
wiper motors that break are the reason for a major Chrysler
recall involving 268,800 vans and SUVs.
Do you own one of these potential lemon Dodge van or Chrysler
van model vehicles?
- 2005 Dodge Durango, built between March 27 and June 12,
2005
- 2005 Dodge Durango, built between September 27 and
November 24, 2005
- 2005 Dodge Caravan, built between March
27 and July 1, 2005
- 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan, built between
September 27 and December 13, 2005
- 2006 Chrysler Town & Country,
built between September 27 and December 13, 2005
The Daimler-Chrysler recall is necessary because windshield
system parts are “out of spec” and can cause
the wiper motor shaft to break. If that happens, your wipers
can fail and, in a rainstorm, you could be left literally
driving blind.
