Do you own one of these potential lemon Polaris utility vehicles?
- 2008 Polaris Ranger RZR 800 EFI
- Model R08VH76AD (red)
- Model R08VH76AG (green)
Hundreds of 08 Ranger utility vehicles built by Polaris Industries
between August 2000 and October 2007 are being recalled for
dangerous fuel leak fire risks. It turns out that some fuel
tanks can leak in the vehicles, according to federal safety
investigators at the Consumer Product Safety Commission. If
that happens, leaking fuel or fuel vapors can cause a fire.
Ohio’s Lemon Law covers utility vehicles so if you’ve
got one of the lemon ones, you may be entitled to a free replacement.

The recalled utility vehicles were sold by Polaris dealers
nationally between August 2007 and November 2007 for prices
ranging around $10,300, more or less. Federal safety officials
are warning consumers to stop using the recalled vehicles immediately
until the fire danger problem is fixed in the recall.
