The main wiring harness connects to another wiring harness
using an 18 pin connector but wire terminals inside the connector
can overheat and melt down. When that happens the bike can
lose electrical power to some circuits. If that happens,
your motorcycle could lose critical lighting or engine power
without warning. That can cause a crash.
